CT197
ConcepsysbIM has been an active participant in CT197 since its formation.
CT197 is the mirror committee of CEN/TC442 and ISO/TC59 and is the entity delegated by the Instituto Português da Qualidade as responsible for the development of standardization in the scope of classification systems, information modeling, and processes throughout the lifecycle of construction projects.
The constitution of the CT has a significant adhesion from the industry. This participation is undoubtedly an undeniable asset for the path of BIM digitization and standardization.

2002 – Concepsys – Studies and Projects of architecture, lda.
Foundation of the architectural firm CONCEPSYS, LDA.
The name (CONCEPT+SYSTEMS) results from the clear intention to use the most modern 3D design technologies for development, communication, and control of construction processes.
2007 – ARQdoc
Development of a proprietary software to control and manage all written documentation for the execution of the work for Concepsys’ internal use.
2007 – ARQges
Development of a proprietary software for managing the projects developed by Concepsys
2008 – BIM
Adopting the BIM Methodology [3D+Data]
2009 – GDL makers
Identifying as essential the need to make manufacturer products available in the form of BIM objects, we launched the GDL makers project.
A service for producing branded product libraries for integration into BIM projects.
2013 – BIMobject Iberica
Identifying the usefulness of a global portal for sharing and disseminating BIM libraries, concepsys became a local partner of BIMobject. Portugal was the 4th country with the most subscribers in the world, even before the portal was actually online.
2015 – concepsysBIM
Identifying the need for faster adoption of BIM by a growing number of companies, the internal technical department of concepsys turns to the outside world to make available the know-how acquired since 2002, adopting the name concepsyBIM.
2017 – Integration of CT-197
ConcepsysBIM actively participates in the technical committee led by the Instituto Superior Técnico and the Instituto Português da Qualidade that has as its objective the transposition of European directives related to BIM in Portugal.
